Why Join Cub Scouts

Cub Scouting teaches values consistent with Good Citizenship, Character Development, Personal Fitness, Leadership and Service. Through Cub Scouting, your child(ren) will have a sense of belonging and grow into a person with a good feeling about themselves and a genuine concern for others.  The Cub Scout Motto is Do Your Best.  We believe that by asking for Cub Scouts to live this motto, they will build self-esteem  The values we strive to instill can be found in our Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Scout Oath

On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.

Scout Law

A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
